Welcome to the Garrison Residents' Association

"promoting and protecting the Shoebury Garrison for the benefit of its community"

Founded in 2008 membership of the GRA by subscription has been open to all residents of Shoebury Garrison over the age of 18 whether they own or rent a property and to non-resident owners of such properties.

At the Annual General Meeting held on the 28th November 2011, members agreed a change to the constitution removing the requirement of subscription. It was also agreed that all qualifying residents and non-residents will by right be acknowledged as members of the GRA but are able to opt out of membership if they so wish, by written advice to the GRA Treasurer.

Why you should join the GRA

The GRA exists to serve the interests of all Garrison residents. The more members we have, the greater our influence over vital issues affecting all residents, such as service and estate charges, maintenance of leasehold properties adoption of non-adopted roads and the proper supervision and maintenance of all common areas and gardens.
You can download and print your membership form here.

Subscriptions
Just five pounds per property each year secures your membership of the GRA. Willing residents volunteer to give freely of their time to protect your interests. A £5 note is good value but you can help further still by completing a Standing Order Form and returning it to the treasurer.
